Project Development Engineer - Junior Project Manager
Algin oversees the project development of solar power projects from pre-development to shovel-ready status. This includes site identification and securing of land rights as well as certifications, contracts, and permits from national government agencies.
In the office, Algin works with the development team as well as the engineering, finance, and legal teams for all concerns related to the projects. Outside the office, he engages and manages external stakeholders such as landowners, agents and brokers, national government agencies, and local government units.
With a degree in BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Algin has experience in developing waste-to-energy projects in the agro-industrial scale. He has also served as a certified test engineer of agricultural and fisheries machinery and was involved in the development of Philippine National Standards for agri-fisheries machineries. Prior to working with CleanTech, he worked with foreign-assisted projects in the agricultural sector. He also serves as a technical consultant for an agricultural engineering firm and as a writer for an automotive media outfit.
Beyond the 8 to 5, Algin seeks to live life to the fullest. With active interests in sports, music, the outdoors, and the undying thirst for adventure, the sun never sets for Algin.
